After Avalaunch switched focus to launch on Avalanche and lend full support to Avalanche projects, it has been made clear an aligned objective which both Avalaunch and Yield Yak share: ecosystem growth by helping and supporting new projects. Our relationship with the XAVA team has grown as they have repeatedly demonstrated their community-first, inclusive spirit.
Our Partnership
Our partnership with Avalaunch is reflected by two primary agreements:
Avalaunch joins as a member of the Yield Yak multisig
The Board of Friends will be appointed as multi-sig signers and have a critical role in the execution of Yield Yak product and strategy. We want to include a strong and varied set of community members in this group, helping to curate the proposals and design the vision and mission of Yield Yak moving forward.
Yield Yak early involvement in upcoming Avalaunch projects
The Yield Yak team offers true value-added defi know-how and technical support to Avalaunch projects to make sure they meet project and roadmap goals. This will help these projects avoid some of the issues we have seen with earlier projects on AVAX (a good example is block rewards vs time rewards). This also gives Yield Yak an advantage in accessing smart contracts early which allows the preparation of associated farms.

We believe that the Avalaunch community should be represented in Yield Yak governance. The best way to achieve this is by sharing that responsibility with the Avalaunch team, who will receive 0.5% of the total supply coming from our ecosystem tokens. These tokens will be entitled to protocol revenues and voting rights.
